Terms of Service

Heads up — this is a beta product. TradePilot is under active development. Features may change, break, or disappear without warning. Do not rely on it for anything you can't afford to lose.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using TradePilot ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TradePilot is a trading-automation platform that lets you build, backtest, and (optionally) execute trading strategies against connected broker accounts. Paper trading is the default; live trading requires explicit opt-in.

3. Beta Software

The Service is provided as-is during beta. Bugs, downtime, and data loss are possible. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. No Financial Advice

Nothing in TradePilot is investment, tax, or legal advice. Signals, strategies, backtests, and AI-generated content are informational only. You are solely responsible for your trades.

5. Account Security

You're responsible for keeping your email account secure — anyone with access to your inbox can request a sign-in link. Enable MFA on your email provider and on TradePilot (where offered).

6. Broker Credentials

When you connect a broker, TradePilot stores encrypted access credentials so it can place orders on your behalf. You can disconnect a broker at any time from the accounts page.

7. Prohibited Uses

Don't use the Service to break the law, manipulate markets, abuse broker APIs, scrape data at scale, resell access, or attempt to circumvent security controls or rate limits.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that put the Service or its users at risk. You can delete your account at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradePilot is not liable for trading losses, missed trades, incorrect signals, broker downtime, data loss, or any indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at fees you've paid us in the prior 12 months (currently zero during beta).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
